Water Fun in Summer

In summer, the swimming lakes and outdoor pools in the Innsbruck region invite you to make refreshing visits. The Rossau swimming lake, known to locals as the “Baggersee”, offers plenty of space for splashing around and swimming. The Tivoli and Olympic Village outdoor pools are also easily accessible by public transport. Glittering green, the Natterer See beckons. There are further swimming options in the Axams leisure center, the Völser Badl and at Lake Lanser.

Swimming and bathing even in bad weather: no problem in the Innsbruck region. A visit to the indoor swimming pool; ensures bathing fun in any weather. Outdoor pools and water slides expand the offering. Children's pools are also available for the whole family to visit.

Tight calves since 1850: Sebastian Kneipp learned about the power of cold water in the middle of the 19th century. It makes tired legs feel light again, promotes blood circulation and awakens your spirits on hot days. The fitness pioneer tested the water treatments on his own body. In the end even the Pope was one of his fans. Try it out: You can find Kneipp facilities in the holiday villages of Axams, Igls, Gries, Lans and Kematen. Walking through cold water pools doesn't take long, but it feels incredibly good.

Bar drinking in our natural streams in the Tyrolean mountains is completely natural. Crystal clear, refreshing, natural - that's how the water is here in Tyrol.
